It is a great joy to welcome you to "My Magical Eyes"—our new home, created with love and expertise by Dr. Gergana Svetoslavova. This site is dedicated to one of the most important missions: helping your children see clearly and grow up healthy and confident.

🌟 Why did we create 'My Magic Eyes?

As an ophthalmologist who has dedicated much of my practice to pediatric eye health, I know how confusing and worrying the journey can be when dealing with diagnoses in the pediatric eye diseases, and especially lazy eye (amblyopia), strabismus, congenital cataract.

Our motto: Helping children see clearly and treating lazy eye with care.

Here you will find more than just medical facts—you’ll find practical support, compassionate understanding, and the latest information on treatments that actually work, mostly through play and a positive approach.

📚 Get to know the book: 'My Magic Eyes'

Key part of the book 'My Magic Eyes' is helping children and their parents to achieve better results in the treatment of lazy eye with occlusion therapy by wearing an eye patch. This can be very stressful and confusing for a child.

This is where the book comes to help: it tells a story of a 4 year boy, who has to go through treatment because of his lazy eye. He needs to start wearing glasses and eye patch, but to him this sounds more as an obligation and he doesn't want to do it. And then his adventure starts. A mystical parrot comes to take him to the Land of Adventures. There he meets the Forest Eye Doctor - Doctor Geri, then he finds a friend, he understands how important it is to wear an eye patch and glasses and sees for himself that they can actually help him achieve his goals and make his eye stronger.

The book gives the young readers motivation, better understanding how to take care of their eyes, and shows them how strong and capable they are. Last but not least, it is a symbol of hope for the parents that in the end of that long journey of treatment, everything will come to its place.
