My Magic Eyes

'My Magic Eyes' is a book, created for kids with different eye conditions as well as their peers. Her main purpose is to give motivation to the first ones and give answers and raise awareness through the second ones. When you are a child the question 'Why' is the most frequent and the most important one. But the kids with eye conditions are not the ones that are supposed to give the answers, we are. This is why I decided to help in that process through the adventures of Finn and his Magic Eyes.

In the book Finn has to go through all aspects of treatment of 'lazy eye' - accept and understand the diagnosis, wear glasses and an eye patch, as well as doing exercises, but also the fear of the stigma, of being different and fear of not being included and accepted for who he is.

But thanks to his abilities and to his friends, who he meets during his journey, Finn manages to conquer every obstacle on his way and push the boundaries and go beyond the limits. This is my dream for the kids with visual impairment and their families.

Book with games and exercises

One of the most challenging parts of treating amblyopia is to teach the child to wear their eye patch and perform exercises using only their 'lazy eye.' To support them during the first 30 days of this journey, we created a book featuring various activities and illustrations, based on the characters in My Magic Eyes. These exercises vary in difficulty and style, allowing you to discover what works best for your child’s age and abilities. The book also includes game ideas for the whole family, helping your child embrace their glasses and eye patch in a fun and loving environment.
